Eat Well, Learn More
We provide breakfast and lunch at all CSDNB Schools in accordance with USDA and state regulations.
The district participates in the Community Eligibility Provision, (CEP), a program of the USDA that provides free meals to all CSDNB students. CEP allows schools that predominantly serve low-income children to offer free, nutritious school meals to all students through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP). The CEP uses information from other programs, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Temporary Family Assistance (TFA), instead of traditional paper lunch applications. Read the USDA press release for details.
If you have questions for the Food Services Department, please contact Kate Murphy, Food Services Manager at 860-515-9723 or via email murphycat@csdnb.org .
